Loan Process

I offer a wide variety of types of loans and rates that are most competitive. As these change daily, it is best to call or email to get info on a current program or rate. I will respond to you very quickly.

THE LOAN PROCESS

Below is an outline to do list which can be used facilitate securing your mortgage

  1. Get pre-qualified or get pre-approved.
  2. Determin the type of mortgage that best suits you.
  3. Complete Loan Application.
  4. Discuss with your loan officer the needed paperwork and documentation (loan materials) via an interview session either over the phone or in person.
  5. Review the Loan Interview Materials checklist below.
  6. Within 3 days of the loan application, receive good faith estimate, truth in Lending disclosure, and other applicable loan disclosures.
  7. Loan submitted for review.
  8. Loan approved
  9. Remaining underwriting conditions satisfied.
  10. Close.

MATERIALS CHECKLIST

To prepare for your information gathering meeting/discussion with your loan officer, please review this a Materials Checklist. Doing so will facilitate your working with your loan office on your mortgage. This checklist includes most of the information that you and any co-borrower will need to supply.

  1. Social Security Number/Date of Birth
  2. Paycheck: Most recent pay stubs(s) that show year-to-date earnings
  3. W-2 Tax Forms
    - Original copies sent to you by the Internal Revenue Service for the past two years
  4. Employer Information
    - Names, addresses and telephone numbers of employers for the past two years
  5. Account Information
    - Account numbers and current balances of checking, savings and any other accounts
  6. Current Assets
    - Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), CDs, stocks, bonds, etc.
  7. Personal Property
    - Value of property that can include life insurance, retirement accounts, cars, etc.
  8. Liabilities
    - Auto loans, student loans, credit cards and other debt. Provide name and address of each creditor and the monthy payment and total amount due.
  9. Current and Previous Addresses
    - If you own a home: Bring the property address, current market value, mortgage lender name, account number, currently monthly mortgage payment and outstanding mortgage balance.
    - If you are renting: Bring the property address, name and address of the landlord, current monthly rent and previous address/landlords if you've lived in your current address for less than two years.
  10. Agreement to Purchase
    - A signed copy and any amendments, a copy of the listing form for the property, the legal description of the property, and the recipients of for down payment deposits.
